Delicious, fresh spaghetti sauce.

The service was friendly, and the fresh bread was really yummy! My entree was good (chef sampler) but I will be more adventurous next time.

OK so I've I've been told and heard that they have great steaks and that's why we went, well huge mistake! From reading the reviews and menu and prices I thought it would be great but I honestly feel like I have been scammed. Ordered the $35 18oz ribeye as did a couple others in my party and they were all bad. I don't care what they say, they are selling and serving strips disguised as ribeyes. Not good strips at that! They are dry, tough and don't have much flavor, absolutely horrible! Someone else in our party got the 12oz filet (medium) and it looked really good then she cut into it and it was rare. They took it back and put it back on the grill and it came back medium rare not medium. Our experience was literally almost comical after a $200+ bill. Honestly be warned! If you want a steak go to a steakhouse. I honestly only gave them two stars because the service was good and that's it.

Good food and service. Give them a try. Most main meals are between 16 to 32 dollars.

the most amazing filet I have EVER had!

This is our second terrible visit to this establishment. Everything was fine up to the point where we received our salads. There were three of us dining. 2 of us had house salads and one of us had a ceasar. Both people that had the house salads noticed that something tasted like something in the salad had a chemical taste. As we dissected the salad we noticed that the cheese is what had that flavor. We asked the server to take them back, which she did. She then came back to the table to argue with us and tell us that it did not have a chemical flavor...we did not argue, as we were I shock that they came back to argue. We finished our meal with no apologies from management or any offers to replace the salad. We will just continue to go to Vito Provolone. The food is always better there anyway.

Everything about this place is killer, however our server, Sydney (Dakota) made our experience. Looking forward to going back...SOON!

What can I say?? Our dinner was AMAZING!! The aroma that teased our senses as we approached the door. I was glad I came hungry..We were seated right away..As we walked to our table everyone looked happy and just enjoying the moment..We had Lasagna, Fettuccini, salads, bread, and The rib eye steaks..Oh my gosh!! If you like steak you will be forever returning..as the steaks were beyond outstanding!! I can tell you we enjoyed them..but you really need to have one..It should be on your bucket list!! The decor was lovely. And the service.. was spectacular.. we had Chris...and it just was a perfect evening..

I liked this place but not enough to give it more than three stars. The other reviews about it being authentic Italian is very much right. It isnt authentic. Should I decide to go back, I'll have to try the steak. The atmosphere is nice and cozy especially for the colder season.

Went for a birthday celebration. Enjoyable establishment. Friendly staff. Great Italian Sausage Pasta.

By far my favorite Italian restaurant. Their portables mushroom appetizer is fantastic and they even serve my favorite wine. The ambiance is delightful and the service is always spectacular. I’ve never had a bad experience or poor food quality. Everything is delicious, which leaves me always willing to try something new.

I simply called to ask if they took reservations or call aheads. I was hardly greeted on the phone by the OWNER who was EXCEPTIONALLY rude and talked to me in an extremely distasteful, condescending, and disgusted tone. Due to this experience, I will never step foot in this restaurant. I’d rather give my business to someone who actually cares about the customer rather than this a**hole.

My favorite place for a steak. Always treated with fast and friendly service. End the meal with tiramisu and a cup of coffee.

Best meal we have had out in a very long time (or possibly ever).Husband got the 18oz boneless Ribeye and I got the 12 oz Filet Mignon, both were so tender & juicy it was like they just melted in your mouth. Everything was served piping hot and cooked to perfection. A lot of places that serve steak let your steak “rest” (get cold) before serving it, not at La Trattoria!!! Would HIGHLY recommend eating here, you won’t find better steak anywhere!

Did take out on a Friday, and the food was hot and delicious. The filet comes with a side of pasta, highly recommend the Alfredo.

Service is good. I had higher expectations. Too expensive when comparing food taste and quality. Alfredo sauce was too watery. Had to add salt for some taste.

The food is absolutely amazing! It ruined all other Italian restaurants for me.

Excellent service, food was cooked to perfection, the steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork, an the chicken was the best I have ever had!! Can't wait to return!!!

Definitely try the Fungo appetizer, if you like portabello mushrooms and blue cheese!

This is hands down the best place to eat in the greenwood area. Awesome food at a great price. Drinks that you can actually taste the alcohol. The wait staff is phenomenal. If you haven't been here yet, what are you doing with your life?

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant the chefs sampler was some of the best Italian I have had !!!!!AND the waiter was excellent. I'll definitely will be going back.

La Trattoia has steaks on par with the finest steakhouses in Indianapolis.Their portobello mushroom appetizer is outstanding, their wedge salad and pastas are also top notch. It can get a bit noisy during the rush but you can beat that by eating there early or late. Their food is comprable to Capital Grille & Morton's, and for a bonus they are a bit cheaper.This is one of my top five favorite places to eat.

Never even finished my meal. The dining room was packed full of drunk, rowdy older couples. All we wanted was a peaceful quiet dinner. A guy stood up and leaned over our food asking what we "got." The man's wife thought this was hilarious behavior. My husband and I were less than thrilled. We tried to talk to each other but it was too loud. I would love to comment on the food but we didn't finish.One of the other reviews stated that they finally found a place where they could taste the alcohol in the drinks. I don't DOUBT that at all!!!! Perhaps TOO much alcohol.

Best Italian food in Greenwood! I highly recommend the wedge salad, fettuccini Alfredo, manicotti, and the live band!! Must try the huge stuffed mushroom and a caramel apple martini!

Tried La Trattoria after hearing great things about it and I have to say we were both disappointed. At this price point I expected better service and better food. The waitress was ok but the hostess didn’t bother looking up from her phone as we left. There was quite a bit of lag time between courses for a Wednesday night with only a few tables seated. We both ordered steak filets medium rare. It had to be one of the toughest filets I’ve ever had. I struggled to cut it. It lacked flavor as well. I have no problem paying more for steak but the quality and price did not match up. The Alfredo was good but not the best I’ve had. Same with the bread a oil and mushroom appetizer. My son ordered a pasta dish and he enjoyed his. I wish I would’ve stuck to pasta myself. I don’t think we will be back with other restaurant options that have better quality food at the same or lower price point.

Got there at 4:45. Ron our waiter was horrible. He doesn't drink wine and couldn't help. Didn't ask anyone else to help us. I asked if marinara came with the cheese bread and he was quick to say NO. Didn't ask if we wanted to pay extra for it. Asked for extra onion on salad and didn't get any. I asked for a cup of decafe coffee and asked for cream and sugar. I looked at him and said I guess I'll use my knife to stir and I did just that. No sugar in the caddy only artificial. No refills for coffee. The food was good. No complaints there. It will be a long long time before we go back. There was only 1 other table and he wasn't their server.

Consistent quality of food. I really love the stuffed manicotti.

Steaks are the specialty - quite good. Remainder of menu is satisfactory. Wait staff leaves much to be desired.

Up here visiting from Florida and this was one of the best meals I’ve EVER had in my LIFE!! Ribeye steak was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Service was excellent and our server Katie made the entire experience that much better!!! I HIGHLY recommend ANYONE that lives in or visits the area to try this restaurant. Thank you La Trattoria!!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Good local Italian restaurant. Fair prices. The chef sampler is good. Great for date night. Friendly family owned business. Saturday was band night, seating outside. Not that busy when we showed up. Inside is rather bland, but I would recommend to try it.

Was there Saturday night for dinner. Food was good but not great.I was concerned that the staff were not using masks.

Great decor. Great food. Great service. Great server, McKenzie. Best ravioli around. Look forward to our next visit.
